Since its inception in 1979, The Prabaasee Association has been a cornerstone of cultural and social harmony in Malleswaram, Bangalore. Rooted in the rich traditions of Durga Puja, we go beyond celebrations to foster community service, education, and social welfare.

As we come together to celebrate the 45th Durga Puja at Prabaasee Association, I am filled with a deep sense of pride and joy. This annual celebration is more than just a festive occasion; it is a demonstration of our shared values, our vibrant culture, and the strong bonds that unite us as a community.
Durga Puja is a time of reflection and renewal. It is a moment to honor our traditions while embracing the spirit of togetherness and service. This year, as we gather for the pujas, cultural programs and joyous festivities, let us also remember the profound impact we can make through our collective efforts.
Prabaasee Association has always been dedicated to enriching lives, not only through our cultural celebrations but also through meaningful community service. Over the past year, we have continued to expand our outreach programs, offering medical camps, educational support, and various initiatives aimed at uplifting those in need. These efforts are the heart of our mission, and I am grateful to each of you for your contributions and support. In addition, this year we have also had the honor of felicitating all our founding members and members who have been associated with Prabaasee since its inception.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the members of the Executive Committee, our dedicated volunteers, and our generous sponsors. Your tireless efforts and steady commitment are what make our celebrations possible and our community stronger. A special mention goes to the team behind Sanghamitra, our annual souvenir, which beautifully captures the essence of our shared experiences and aspirations. The theme, “Service with Joy,” resonates deeply with what we do at Prabaasee. Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s words, we recognise that true happiness lies in serving others.
